Challenge: The non-profit organization "Mallorca Sense Fam," dedicated to distributing food to vulnerable families with limited financial resources in Mallorca, required a technological solution to efficiently organize appointment scheduling for food basket deliveries. The solution needed to handle high levels of security to protect the personal data of beneficiaries and provide a system that facilitated appointment planning based on priorities, as well as generating detailed statistics for public administration.

Implemented Solution

Overview: Arteco Consulting SL developed an application consisting of a backend in Spring Boot and a frontend in React, supported by a PostgreSQL database. This solution not only meets the high security standards required for the protection of personal data but also offers an intuitive interface for appointment management and scheduling, allowing the association to sort appointments according to priority and need.

Technologies Used: The application was developed using Spring Boot for the backend, leveraging its efficiency and security in handling requests and data. The frontend was built with React, providing a smooth and accessible user experience. PostgreSQL was selected as the database management system for its robustness and reliability, while additional security measures were implemented to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of user's personal data.

Key Features: The platform enables efficient management of appointments for food delivery, ensuring that the most vulnerable families receive assistance in a timely manner. Additionally, it includes advanced functionalities for generating statistics and reports requested by public administration, facilitating monitoring and continuous improvement of the solidarity actions carried out by "Mallorca Sense Fam."

Results: The implementation of this solution has allowed "Mallorca Sense Fam" to optimize its food distribution process, significantly improving the organization and prioritization of deliveries.
