Challenge: Property management professionals and owners with basic account management skills needed a simple yet comprehensive tool to facilitate efficient property management. The solution had to cover all phases of property management, from organizing meetings and voting to settling expenses per property, simplifying the process without relying on a complex accounting system.

Implemented Solution

Overview: Arteco Consulting SL developed a property management software designed to offer simplicity and efficiency in property management. The system was initially created using Spring MVC with JSP, later evolving into a REST-based architecture with user interfaces developed in AngularJS. A management model based on bank transactions was implemented to facilitate accounting operations, and an owner portal was included for basic inquiries and management.

Technologies Used: The solution was initially based on Spring MVC and JSP for the backend and views. Over time, it migrated to a more modern and flexible approach, using RESTful services and AngularJS for the frontend. To ensure system availability and scalability, it was deployed on Kubernetes, with second-level Ehcache for Hibernate, optimizing performance and user experience.

Key Features: The system comprehensively covers property management, including meeting organization, voting, and expense settlement according to allocation coefficients. The owner portal adds significant value by allowing access to relevant information and performing basic management tasks independently. The system's architecture ensures high availability and optimal performance through the implementation of cutting-edge technologies.

Results: The system implementation has significantly simplified property management, making processes more efficient and transparent for both professional managers and property owners. The ease of use and accessibility of the system have been highly valued, improving user satisfaction and optimizing property management.
